COVID-19 Confirmed Case
Dear Residents,
We regret to inform you that there has been a resident that has tested positive for COVID-19 in our building.
What steps are being taken given this situation?
Cleaning Staff will be focusing their efforts on the floor of the unit that has notified us of the case.
The resident has been quarantined for the past 2 days and will remain so until further notice.
Management has asked for additional information, and the resident has advised us that they have only used the elevators in the west tower and the gym (last Tuesday before it had been closed).
Cleaning Staff will continue to focus on the Elevators.
Toronto Public Health has been contacted and notified, and residents are reminded to practice safe hygiene as per the recommendations from public health.
We understand that these are difficult times and we ask that you remain calm and continue to follow the recommendations that we have been sending out almost daily.
Following the recommendations from Toronto Public Health is the best way to contain and stop the spread of the virus, including self-isolating and staying home. Please contact Toronto Public Health if you have any questions or concerns related to COVID-19 in our community beyond what we have already answered in our communications and the steps that management continues to take.
